Ventilate Single & Double Skin Facades
As a solution developer, RUMMING team, provides and installs ventilated facades constructions in various materials, for demanding clients and investors. With headquarters in Greece and subsidiaries in Albania, Kosovo and offices in Italy we provide ventilated facade solutions that uses a double enclosure distanced from each other by a support structure to generate an air chamber for ventilation. The Ventilated facades that we create respects and follows the general physic theory of ventilation through the chimney effect that activates air currents by convection, improving the acoustic and thermal insulation of the building, and increasing its energy efficiency. Due to our experience we undertake single and double ventilated facades with a great variety of cladding with natural covering materials like marble, stone, wood and industrial materials like tiles, high pressure wood, cement boards and any customized product upon request. RUMMING Facades are high resistance to weathering with dimensional stability and lightness reducing the support structure requirements. Furthermore, with our solutions we allow large format decorative panels, up to 6 meters, reducing the number of joints and providing limitless solutions for architects and designers.

Glass Structures
Focused on creating high aesthetic buildings by providing high performance solutions RUMMING team is a great choice for Glass constructions. In many projects by designing a wall of glass, the architect wants the glass to be the prominent feature of the facade minimizing the framing and using the largest glass panes. Structural glass can be used as a fantastic alternative to a traditional facade system by using high specification glass with bespoke fixing details creating entire elevations of glass with no visible frame or fixing. RUMMING is specialized for designing and providing glass panels, named ‘Jumbo Sheet’ that are made up to 6m x 3m for a really impressive finish.
RUMMING offers many facade systems available and each varies greatly in terms of frame size, material and design. For the most minimal glass facade system we use Curtain walling, which is a building envelope that is intended to support only its own weight and withstand the effects of environmental forces such as wind. Our curtain wall is designed to resist air and water infiltration, absorb sway induced by wind and seismic forces acting on the building, withstand wind loads and support its own dead load weight forces.
For particular cases and customers, we study and offer bulletproof glass (ballistic glass) structures creating a strong and optically transparent material that is particularly resistant to penetration by projectiles. Bulletproof glass is used in windows of buildings that require such security, such as jewelry stores and embassies, and of military and private villas. Our team of experts calculate the strength of glazing required for creating floors and roofs of glass, to take regular foot traffic for complete safety and watertight integrity and also to meet the necessary building codes for residential, commercial or public buildings.
